There had been a lot of things that has happened since the month of August started. There were a mix of things that are good and not so good. Last week we saw the opening of the greatest sports event of all time, the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. There were a lot of world records in this Olympics, and this marked the rise of Michael Phelps as the greatest athlete of the century. On the other hand, a big dispute between Russia and Georgia emerged, causing grave war in both countries. And another big thing will debut before the month of August says goodbye. On August 25, a day after the Beijing Olympics close, Chrysler will release a big bomb that will definitely pull their sales up, and increase the quality features of their cars.
Chrysler's new addition to their car's feature is the UConnect Web. Although there have been many computer related features other car company is covering, Chrysler's new UConnect Web will be the first one to be fully offered to public.
UConnect will feature a lot of things for future Chrysler cars. There will be voice activated controls in the future UConnect Web system. It will also create a hot-spot radius of about 100 feet, with download speeds between 400 and 800Kbps and upload speeds of 400 Kbps.
Having the UConnect Web is actually a good thing but I don't think oyu will consider its price a good thing as well. The product retails at $500. Another $50 will have to be paid. A one time activation fee of $35 and a monthly subscription fees of $29. When I first know a bout this, I thought my head went to spinning.
