When I was a kid, there's a cartoon program that I really like watching. It's a Japanese cartoon that revolves around a young racer and his battles in and outside the racing field. It's initial title as an international franchise to my country is Maha Go! Go! Afterwards, its used the original Japanese title as Mach GoGoGo.
Recently, I learned that the US franchise of the cartoon that was aired around the 60's will be reproduce in the big screen. The US version of the Japanese cartoon is Speed Racer. Watch the trailer.
It is made even more futuristic in the film. The racing cars that were used in the movie generally resembles of that in the film. However, I am only puzzled why is that instead of Japanese antagonist, all or most of the main Asian characters in the movie are Koreans? It's funny that the cartoon started in Japan it doesn't even play a major role in its movie.
Anyway, I'm off to watch this film as soon as it started showing on cinemas. I would love to tell you the tales of this movie next time!
