This video is actually the first that the Philippines had done when it comes to smuggled cars. This happened around August of 2007 where some BMW X5s, Lincoln Navigator, Toyota Previa, Mitsubishi GTO, Chevrolet Camper and 18 more were destroyed in front of the government officials who said that these smuggled cars need to be destroyed so that smugglers will learn a lesson and to avoid these cars ending up in the smugglers again if ever they were put to auction.
The car destroying continued, last December, 21 more cars were destroyed and just 3 days ago, another 15 luxury cars were crashed using backhoes.
