About a week ago I finally got my drivers license!! I should have gotten my drivers license two months ago, but since I haven't really practiced driving all that much I failed my test the first time. I didn't have that hard of a time on the driving part of the test. It was the parallel parking that I didn't do so good at.
So anyway, I was pretty excited to finally be able to drive. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of ALL the hazards of driving in certain types of weather and seasons. I live in Pennsylvania so there are a lot of hills. Its Fall so there is also a lot of leaves on the roadways. I think you know where I'm going with this. Anyhow, it has rained so much here over the past month. So with all the rain and the leaves on the road, they become very slippery to drive on. Long story short, I wrecked my car!
I was driving down a curvy, hilly road on my way home from school and all of a sudden my car was in a ditch! For some reason my car slid out of control like it was on ice! Now I know that the leaves on the road can cause that to happen. It just sucks that I had to find that out the hard way.
