Cars, are we all know it, are primarily used as means of transportation. They are generally for moving about, going to places that will give you the comfort more than just walking.
We all use our cars extensively when they are new. Who wouldn't want to go to different places cavorting inn a new car? For some, buying cars is in line with necessity, but for many, nowadays, cars are just for bragging. And most people who owns a good car before, would just dump their old ones in the back yards or garages. But there's one we spotted that still is living beyond its purpose.
The picture on the side, an old Peugeot Pickup truck was spotted in Montevideo, Uruguay just a few days ago. Probably it's a Peugeot 400 Pickup version. Pickup trucks are arguably the best type of vehicles. Aside from transporting people, it can also be used to transport things, and heavy things for that matter.
That particular Peugeot pickup truck is used to transport store items for the Tristan Narvaja Flea Market. It may look too old to be still in service, but it actually is still in service. I would bet that car is more than 20 years! Or perhaps older.
Who would have thought that 20 or so years ago, that Peugeot was purchased for reasons we don't know, and decades after decades, it is still alive and is still servicing its owner.
Who said being old means retirement?
