Navigating with Navara

By Sam Heisin at 06/21/08 05:38

Asia, new cars: Nissan Navara

The Nissan Navara is not a new one for many specially for people living in Europe and Asia. It has been there since 1986 up to this date. In it's pretty good years of existence, it has proven a lot and has showcased many qualities you really need for a vehicle.

First of all, the Navara is the market leader in the United Kingdom for a couple of years now. Nissan Navara did great in the UK and was accepted by many because of its relatively low price as compared to others and its very interesting features.

Nissan, being the pioneer in making compact pickup trucks introduced the first crew cab bodystyle in compact pickups in their D22 Navara edition. They have also standardized the satellite navigation in their every Navara, put leather Upholstery, Dual Zone Climate Control and 6 CD/MP3 changer.

The 2008 version of Navara have also changed some of the old functions. They now uses bluetooth connectivity as standard, side work lights, alloy wheels and they also out indicators on wing mirrors.

Last time I was able to ride with a friend who owns a Nissan Navara Aventura. It has cruise controls, wipers with rain-sensors and a voice-activated mobile phone. It's very beautiful and spacious as well. You really have the functionality of an SUV and the toughness of a truck with the Navara.

The Nissan Navara's price is almost $30,000. Though a bit expensive, it still is cheaper as compared to its major rivals of the same platform. The Navara may have looked like its brothers Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder or the Patrol, but it can prove it is better in ways than the others.
