The Cars and Buses Monologue

By Auto Bots at 05/17/08 20:25

My brother recently bought a new SUV. He love cars more than I do haha.

The SUV he bought isn't actually for his personal use, he bought it for employees' service vehicle. His business requires his employees to go to different places, though not far, but is frequent. He bought it to save from the fare expenses (to which if we compute will cost him more than the price of the vehicle in just 1 year).

It is a blue Isuzu Alterra 4WD. Isuzu, though not very famous in other countries, is actually one of the good maker of vehicles in Asia. Based in Japan, Isuzu has already established its name in Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and mostly in the Philippines. The main reason for this is its relatively cheaper price than its competitors. Design wise, Isuzu cars are really off the fashion board. They design classic exteriors and do not do flamboyant designs. However, when it comes to performance, it's certainly in almost equal state with vehicles worth US$2k more! But I'm telling you, price isn't really the basis for quality cars. There are some cars that really kicks off the road but is really cheaper than those big brands so its therefore not true saying, "if it's more expensive, it's of higher quality", definitely not. Though it's a secondary reasoning haha.

Anyway, there is also a theatrical play that will be held in the halls of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, entitled, Cars and Buses Monologue. The name sounds weird and a little innovative that it actually sparked some curiosity out of me. I do not know what about it and I am dying to see it. I just the title makes sense. The show will be on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, around 7PM. Tickets are available at every TicketWorld outlets around Metro Manila. Only 500 tickets seats are available, and if you still want to come but not fortunate enough to get a ticket, you can pay at the entrance of the hall, but be warned that you won't be sitting until the end of the show haha.
