For the first time in its history the Internet Car and Truck of the Year awards will be allowing consumers to vote for their own choice of cars and trucks. The votation for your preferred car and truck for the year will be done on their website, at http://www.internetcarandtruckoftheyear.com

12 online writers of known automotive websites were invited to choose seven for internet car and seven for internet truck of the year. Next month, the seven cars will be cut down to just 3 per category before the body finally choose the ultimate winner in December.

The deadline for submission of preferred car selection will end on October 16 and the voting will end on November 13 so you better put on your votes while you still have the time.

The seven semi-finalists for Car of the Year include the Chevrolet Camaro SS, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Ford Taurus SHO, Kia Forte sedan, Mazda Mazda3, Nissan Cube and Ford Shelby GT500.

The seven semi-finalists for Truck of the Year includes the Audi Q5, Audi Q7 TDI, Chevrolet Equionx, Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz GLK and Volvo XC60.
