New 2009 Mini Cooper Convertible - A Giant Jump of Pricing

When the next generation 2009 MINI Cooper S Convertible hit the showrooms of the Detroit Auto Show this January, everyone is expected to have their jaws dropped to the floor.

It's not only the design and the new features that will amazed you, this small but terrible car also has an amazing price. With a 10% increase on its base price, the 2009 Cooper Convertible will be sold at $24,550 while the Cooper S Convertible at $27,450.

Detroit Auto Show - Automaker's No-Show

The Detroit Auto Show is probably one of the most anticipated car show of the year. It has always been a hyped event and a lot of people are looking forward to seeing the cars that will début on this prestigious event.

However, this year's Detroit Auto Show will most likely be a screwed one. A lot of giant automakers have already expressed their no-show to the event. We do not exactly know as to why the car makers are not attending the event. Perhaps they have no new models to show or simply just doing a thrift way to counter the harsh economy.

Moving from another state? Dont expect a DL any time soon.

If you're reading this, then unfortunately you have to meet me when I've never been so angry in my life, basically because of the DMV and the post office. What you're about to read is a true story about my horrible experiences dealing with the DMV, the Secretary of State, the post office, and its employees. I'll put together a timeline of exactly what happened, who I contacted, what they told me, and exactly what I did.

In early July of 2008, I decided to pick up and move to San Diego, CA, no more details need to be given. My original point of contact with the DMV was sometime after July 4th. Since I moved from Michigan, I had to get several things before I got my CA lisence. Please keep in mind, that you CANNOT use your old out-of state DL as a form of ID. Which is complete BS, but fine. So considering this, I was told by a DMV employee that I needed to do the following:

eBay Find Of The Day: 2004 Maybach 57

It's not everyday you got to see a Maybach on the highways or city streets. It is one of the most exclusive car maker and its cars are obviously one of the most exclusive cars in the world. So what will you do if a $300k++ luxury car, of a 2004 model, will be sold to almost half the original price?

A friend informed me about this 2004 Maybach 57 on eBay. My friend said the car is being offered "cheaply" compared to its original price. He may be right, but since I don't have a hundred thousand dollars here, I'll probably say it's still expensive. Err, just that's me, ok?

BMW To Produce A Green Supercar?

We all know almost all supercars that we got to see in television shows, racing competitions or car / auto shows are never green. They still use the traditional gas burning process, that is obviously burns out our pockets as well and annoys mother earth big time.

However, one of the biggest name is the luxury line of car manufacturing is thinking of doing a "green supercar". German carmaker BMW is planning to create a "breakthrough green supercar" that everybody will love.

2010 Ford Fusion

Even though the Los Angeles Auto Show have already come to an end, we still want to share with you some of the cars that debuted in one of the most prestigious car event of the year. We're bringing you Ford's 2010 Ford Fusion.

The new 2010 Ford Fusion is priced in four categories. The 2.5-liter Fusion S starts at $19,270 which has the basic features. The SE model which is priced at $20,545 has almost the same features with the S model only that it has a bigger 17-inch wheels. It also comes with a six-speaker stereo with Sirius Satellite Radio. You also have the choice of the larger 3.0-liter V6. Additionally, Ford Sync 2.0 is an added option on the SE.

2009 Porsche Cayman Facelift

Perhaps one of the most coveted car for the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show is the 2009 Porsche Cayman. Although we have already seen the first edition of the 2009 Porsche Cayman before, the one for the LA Auto Show is a bit different after getting a facelift.

The upgraded 2009 Porsche Cayman has a new twin-clutch transmission able to work power conversion magic. And perhaps the greatest addition to the new version is the optional limited slip differential that is added. By doing this, Porsche has answered some of the most common complaints for the original Cayman model.

Goodbye, No More - Off Yugo

After 30 years in the service, the last of the Yugo cars will be leaving its plant this November. When the car leaves the plant Kragujevac, Serbia, it means the the automaker is also bidding goodbye to us. Off Yugo. (Off you.)

For many years. Yugo became the pride of the former Yugoslavian government representing the biggest number of car sales and automotive export in their country.

Nissan 370z Privately Unveiled

About a week before its official debut for the Los Angeles Auto Show, Japanese carmaker Nissan decided to unveil their newest, their hottest car, the re-bumped 2009 Nissan 370z.

The event is a private gathering. It was hosted by Edmunds and only includes a special group of car enthusiasts. I don't know what kind of eyes do you have if you find this hot car from Nissan ugly. It's definitely a beautiful car and we re seeing a lot in its future.
