A friend called me just this morning to help him find a buyer for his old car. He is planning to change his car and upgrade at a better one. So I think I just have to help him.

His car is a 2001 model of Mitsubishi Montero. It is colored white. Of course its a second hand, but I assure you the car is still on its great condition. He is a great driver and really cares for his car. He treat them as part of the family, giving it regular checkings from the shop and regular maintenance as well. It is regularly tuned up and changed oil. All features are functional, no defects and whatsoever. The original price of the car is more than Php1,000,000 but he will only be selling it for Php890,000 so you can save a total of Php110,000. Wow that's a lot of savings.

I know how much Malaysian's love to drive and how much they value cars. I have a friend who is a Malaysian and he sure is someone who would die for cars. It's no surprise that they would spend a lot of money for higher standard cars that thos of cheap price ones.

The vintage cars can also be said as the greatest influences of the British occupancy in Malaysia as early as the 1700's.

Indeed, the classic cars do not only show royalty, beauty, and glamor, it also shows that quality last.

One time I traveled China without any preparation of reserving a hotel or a car. I arrived sound and safe in their land, got myself a nice hotel and have my cravings for sumptuous food satisfied. But never did I expect that the pollution in their country is worse that I have ever imagined.

China, as its industrial economy grows, also faces a far more worse problem, pollution. And one of the major contributor of pollution in their air are cars and factories. So far, 16 out of the top 20 most polluted cities belong to China, the city of Linfen being the most polluted and the reason are the bustling cities with tons of environmental unfriendly cars.

The cars crowding its main roads and highways emit terrible black smog that fills the city air. I was in Beijing then, a little less polluted place, but you can still feel the pollution. I wonder how will they cope with it for the Olympics this year.

So instead of walking, I chose to rent a car to save myself from choking with Chinese air. I found out that their cars are below the environmental standards. The smoke from the car I rented are thick black. They are so thick that when you go out and smell it, you will straightly be delivered to hell.

Maybe this is a good point for China to think and reset their environmental policies. The cars that they are using to roam around the country must all be well checked to not contribute more pollution to the nation as well as for the neighboring countries.

He then told me it was luck that gave him a new car. Seriously, I have a hard time believing in whatever he said because he has this reputation of saying things that are not true. Luck? How I wish I am as lucky as he is. He narrated what happened.

He said he was doing his regular grocery one day, about 6 months ago in one of the biggest convenience store in the country. He was a coupon upon paying at the counter, wrote his name, address, number and eventually dropped in onto the drop box. He said he just ignored it because contests like those always happen but he was never a lucky man to win them.

After six months, a guy called him announcing he won. He was shock at the news and rushed to the nearest branch of the store to confirm his winning. And indeed, he won. Lucky guy indeed.

Coincidentally, I needed a few stocks and went on the store, and saw his name, printed in bold, in all capital letters, that he really won the car. Yay, he really is a lucky guy.

In case you don't know, Toyota Fortuner is one of the prettiest SUV ever built. Having been designed along with comrade Toyota Hilux Pickup, Fortuner is a true blue king of the road. With its tall body and protruding metallic muscles really showcase its greatness in physical appearance and in performance. Toyota Fortuner is an SUV available only in Asia, Africa and Latin America, at least that is what Madame Wikipedia told me.

Mazda is a global car manufacturer that is based in Hiroshima, Japan. The history of Mazda dates back in the 1920's with a different name, Toyo Kogyo Co. Ltd. The original company supplies weapon to the Japanese government during the World War II. The first transportation vehicle the company made was Mazda-Go. Succeeding years proved to be good for auto manufacturing for the company.

In 1984, the company officially adapted the name Mazda. Mazda, literally means "great wisdom" and is also conveyed to the Zoroastrianism God, Ahura Mazda. Now if you are playing International Ragnarok Online, you will know who is Ahura Mazda. Throughout the years, Mazda has fought for originality and uniqueness of their vehicle. They put major effort in developing what we know now as the Wankel Rotary Engine. The Wankel rotor is an internal combustion engine that uses a rotor in converting pressure into a rotating motion.

But their cars suffered a major lost in sales when the oil crises of the world came. The oil-hungry rotary cars reached a down sales in favor of the American oil efficient cars. They thrived with the crisis by taking their rotary cars a bit down on production and made cars of piston engines. Mazda focused on the sports car category and gained total popularity with their release of the RX-7 and more followed.

Through ups and downs on financial problems, Mazda stood up and proved to be one of the world's best car maker. They have teamed up with Ford to create better car technologies that the world will surely love.

This year Mazda plans to release its first hydrogen fueled hybrid car, the Premacy Hydrogen RE compact minivan, something we should all watch for.
