24 Hours of LeMons 2008

Last August 23 and 24, the 24 Hours of LeMons was once again viewed by thousands of people in its leg at the 24 Hours of LeMons New England held in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.

We all know how fun this race is. It's probably one of the most entertaining car race in the planet, but at the same time one of the most mean. Oh well, for some people who do not know what exactly the 24 Hours of LeMons is, I guess I juts have to tell you what is it about.

A Look at the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V

In early January of 2008, Cadillac finally unveiled their car model that will make many eyebrows raise. After years of car-manufacturing excellence, Cadillac has finally created a model that will be looked upon by many. The new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V.

The new CTS-V is said to be the fastest sedan ever made. Aside from it being the fastest Cadillac model ever made, it is also the most powerful. The new car form Cadillac will go head-to-head with rivals models such as BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS6.

GM Recalls 857,735 Vehicles

For the past few years, we have witness how tremendous GM's improvement in their cars have been. We saw a lot of changes that happened and they increased the quality of their cars. They have to do it, or else they will lose its good competition with Toyota. But it seems like GM is still not away form the flaw line.

GM recently recalled a total of 857,735 cars that spans to their other brands like Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Hummer and Saturn. The recall was made after the cars were found to have faulty wiring system.

Jeff Dunham, Achmed the Dead Terrorist and the Prius Lunchbox

Yesterday my sister brought a DVD for me to watch. The title is Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insabity. It is stand-up puppet comedy by Jeff Dunham. I had fun watching the whole show and I was seriously laughing at his genius creations, but a friend who was watching with me noticed that the show is a bit anti-Prius.

In the program, there is a puppet character named Walter, an old retired Vietnam war veteran. He is a bit grumpy and doesn't care about anyone, especially his wife. He calls Toyota Prius the 'saddest little car'. He also commented that when the Prius is driving, it sounds like "Iiiii'm gay" and when it stops, it sounds like 'homo homo homo'. Lol, I find it funny but also a bit 'harsh' towards the Prius.

Problems With Hybrids

There are a lot of good things to praise in every hybrid cars that are in the roads now. These things are the ones that pushes us to have one hybrid for ourselves and get rid of this gasoline hungry wheels.

But of course, like all good movies will run, there's a villain in every hybrid, the disadvantages will never be away. Last week, one of the first few electric Roadster by Tesla got caught in an accident. So what about this accident and it's being hybrid?
