When did you start your website and why?

I created my website at the beginning of this year 2007, I was looking for a new car as a travel alot and wanted a very low emmision and car that did not cost the earth to run on fuel or servicing. I found there was not very much up to date information on Hybrid car (cars that have a normal petrol or diesel engine plus an electric motor powered by recharable batteries to help with accelaration and cutting down on co2 and fuel bills)on the web so I researched and made my own to help other people be get better informed.

This website is free and independent site with information on all makes and models of Hybrid cars , giving advice on what to look for and the benifits and of course how this technologhy works . I ensure all topics are covered, like, where to buy on, why, on going costs, disadvantages, etc. I update this site with new information monthly so its worth coming backk to check on new developments.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Find the correct and most up to date information to ensure my site is interesting and relevant.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The first idea, and getting it up on the World wide web

What was your biggest mistake?

No doing it earlier, getting information on the internet is easy and very rewarding.

Who maintains your website and why?

I do all the updating as it cheaper that way and I can up date it daily if I want to.

As this site is a free to read website giving free information it is not a business just a hobby for me as I am passionate about cars and the planet

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

ecommerce and the internet is the future full spot. I love the way you can communicate with people you have never met and share ideas in minutes.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO is very inportant because if you dont get listed on the search engines nobody will every get to see or read your big idea.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I have struggled to know where and how to get listed on search engines, but http://www.turbosubmitwebsite.com was very helpfull to get started and get on most of the major search engines quickly

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Paying for back links on top ranking sites and getting friends with websites to list my web address

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

The least successful way i have found to promote my website is hundreds of links on other sites nobody visits, better to have one or two links on top ranking sites 6 -10 page ranking than hundreds on 1-5s.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Easy way to get your website searched and found
