Global Warming And Cars: What Is The Solution?

In the United States, cars emit in excess of 333 million tones of CO2 annually. This figure is more than a fifth of the total CO2 emissions in the country. The mere extent of the contributions of cars to global warming has necessitated the development of innovative mechanisms aimed at preventing an increase in the emission of green house gases.
The government together with the automotive industry is currently working together with the sole intent of limiting the emission of green house gases. There are several options available but both parties have realized that no intervention whatsoever can help forestall the increasing emissions if a restructuring in the design of cars is left unattended.
