A Flying Ferrari Soon?

By Tony Stark at 09/12/08 21:20

Russia, Ferrari: Flying Ferrari Concept Car

We have known of the existence of hover cars before. Flying cars, not really. But there have been developments on this kind of vehicles for the last few decades. Many have attempted. The largest authority for flying cars is Paul Moller and his Moller company, and they will attempt to have this flying Ferrari soon.

The flying Ferrari is a requested order from Moller's Russian customer, a wealthy businessman who has the passion for flying cars. And he thinks Paul Moller and his company can make his dream of flying a Ferrari come true.

The Russian businessman asked Moller to build for him a flying car that will resemble that of a Ferrari 599 GTB. And Moller will be calling this flying Ferrari the Autovolanter. Does it sound catchy?

In case you don't know, Moller design the SkyCar M400 and the M200G Volantor flying saucer. Though none of them had made it into production, they have been claiming that these cars can indeed fly.

Actually, Moller said that their M200G Volantor that is capable of hovering 10 feet (3 m) above the ground is slated to be in the US market before the year ends. They have a deadline to make, December 31, 2008. But Moller has a reputation of 'postponing' the date of release since 2003. Year after year, they extend their date of supposed-to-be-released date.

I don't know, but I don't expect much from this production. Its not that I don;t believe it can be made, but the view of flying cars, and not just hover cars, is still a thing for the future, at least for me.

weird... I wonder if you could do it to a Pacer without it tipping due to weight distribution. I like cars, too. check out my site...
