With the recent appearance of hybrid concept drawings from the Ferrari office, it revealed the sports automobile maker's plans on joining the green fleet. As a matter of fact, their first hybrid car may not come in a few years from now, it may be sooner.
Reports said that the Ferrari hybrid may make its debut before the year ends. It will probably not be this coming Frankfurt Motor Show on September 17 to September 27, 2009. Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa gave us a hint that it may be November's Los Angeles Auto Show.
We say it will be the LA motor show because Ferrari already express their intention of not attending January's Detroit Auto Show. Felisa also mention that even though it will not be unveiled in Frankfurt it will come "shortly thereafter, probably at an American show.”
It is still not clear what vehicle platform Ferrari will use on their first ever hybrid but we are guessing it will be as beautiful as their sports vehicles. You know its not Ferrari if it doesn't have a good exterior and interior. Performance wise, we are guessing it will be slower that their normal fleets but it will be faster than other brands available. Well, that's our guess. Make yours now.
