We know that Japan tops the list of motor vehicle producing nations followed by the United States and China in that order but are you aware which companies produce the most number of vehicles across the planet.
Well according to last years figures the company which produced the most number of automobiles across the globe was none other than General Motors, followed by Toyota and Ford in that order. General Motors is the giant American multinational company whose roots are as old as Audi which we discussed about in a previous blog.
The company was founded in the year 1908 in the American state of Michigan. The company has got several achievements to its credit other than being one of the largest car manufacturers of the world. Infact it was awarded with one of the Best 100 companies for working mothers around three years ago. The company is also involved in a lot of environment related work although at the same time it has faced severe criticisms as well on the issue.
For example the company was under public preview last year for having deliberately killed its electric baby namely the EV1 which was scrapped and put out of production due to economic reasons and financial liabilities involved in the process.
I would like to see more hybrid and innovative cars
