What are YOUR top thoughts on the effects of Dale Earnhardt Jr. leaving DEI at the end of the season?

I think the top things that come to my mind would be:

• Boy, are the people who sell licensed NASCAR stuff going to be overloaded on inventory of number 8 items!
• Wow, is Christmas time going to be stinky and tension filled at the Earnhardt table!
• Will all the Earnhardt fans have to quit drinking Bud products if they don't follow him to the new race team?

No, seriously folks, it appears that Earnhardt's stepmom is ok with the plans he has set forth to leave his namesake racing team. I don't think either that he will go back to racing under his father's number 3, since that would seemingly overshadow his own success under his father's umbrella.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.
