Daniel Dingel and His Hydrogen Powered Car

By Lens Flare at 06/28/08 16:36

We have been thinking of what is the best solution to the high price of fuel. We have developed biofuels, algae fuels or the green crude and other sorts of resources which we think would help us avoid or even just lessen the expense of having a gasoline fueled car.

But in one small country, the Philippines, there was an invention that not all people know that can give hope to many people regarding their fuel problems. He invented a car part that will make any car run on water. Yes, just plain water. You can use your drinking water or even tap faucet water to run your vehicles. It is the first of its kind and but still holds a mystery because up until this moment, the technology behind it is not in any way given to any people aside from himself. And I'll explain why.

Daniel Dingel is his name. He started the Water Car project in 1968. He successfully run his first car during the reigning of President Ferdinand Marcos in the 70's. He came to the president and showed his invention and Marcos was delighted. However, the government at the time was not able to help him due to the coup de etat due to Martial Law.

After the Marcos regime, the new elected president, former President Corazon Aquino rode with Mr. Dingel and expressed her amazement at the water car and said it was the miracle the people had been waiting for. No fuel cost, no air pollution, less maintenance - and that;s it. It would have been the perfect technology people are looking.

However, for the second time, the government failed to help him materialized his dream of mass producing the technology because certain political laws that is governing Philippine jurisdictions.

Under international law set by the IMF and the World Bank, the Philippines cannot produce anything that will compete with their products. The IMF and the World Bank is very essential in the growth of the country and the government cannot risk its ties with the organization just to support Mr. Daniel Dingel.

Up until this day, the hydrogen car Mr. Dingel invented is still running on the road, and only him knows how it was done. He doesn't want to reveal it to the public because he wants the technology be used first hand by his fellow Filipinos. He was offered by German and Japanese automakers with great proposals but he declined them all. He felt like these countries just want to exploit and steal the technology he had worked for almost 4 decades.

I know the laws suck, but seriously, there's really nothing we can do about it. Here is a video documentary of Mr. Daniel Dingel is his hydrogen fueled car or simply the Water Car.

Now that my country is under seige by the oil firms, i would rather break the law that prohibits this good man to serve his countrymen by converting my father's vehicle into hydrogen powered. Im gonna be sure that his invention will benefit the filipinos and its gonna start to me if he wants to...

this technology could save our country...just imagine...the Philippines, exporting hydrogen-powered cars to every part of the world...this could catapult us to being a developed country. it's just sad that a certain 'law' has deprived us from that dream. unless we convince mr. dingel to wait and not sell his invention to other countries. please...if somebody know how to contact mr. dingel, pls email me his contact nos. at clarencelati@yahoo.com. thanks...

...I was really amazed with this water car invention..Fortunate enough that I have read the news from several reports.I am now conducting a study regarding this because I am willing to contribute and know more for the improvement of this invention..this could really help a lot to the increasing cost of our fuel nowadays..

why are we not allowed to develop our own? the koreans, the japanese as well as the chinese are so successful in their homegrown technologies and now their getting benefit from it. It is so sad and frustrating really, to know that indeed we are a sovereign country yet we are bound by foreign law. I say Hurray to Mr. Dingel, I hope that your inventor genes will spread to all filipinos.

it's about time the invention of mr. dingel should be patented for the sake of mankind not just for a few greedy individuals like the Big Oil tycoons..his invention is very much favourable for the whole world and the environment because no more destructive emissions for all the machineries that will be converted to his technology and that's a win-win situations for everyone in this world..global warming will be halted due to the clean emissions of all vehicles!it's human activities that's gonna ruin this planet we live and it's also human technology and invention that can save this planet earth where all of us live together!

Well i'm sure he will not get a patent for this and he will die not revealing the secret if dingel is ready i'm ready to mass produce the product and sell it and give him the royalty i'm not going for the patent it willnot happen since oil companies will not allow it happen thts for sure. We a group have been searching for the information for pretty long.

The only way out is produce the stuff sell it and then ask for patents mass produce the stuff so that oil companies choke no other option other than this.

I know most of the countries depend on oil for the economy and they r the most horrible cultureless fools too.

If any one can mail me the contact of engr dingel i'm ready to fly to philiphines to meet him and produce the stuff in mass.
