Michigan, Automakers: Happy 100th Year to GM

September 16 will mark General Motor's 100th year in the automobile industry. Founded on September 16, 1908 in Flint, Michigan, GM as what it is commonly called is now one of the world's largest companies. For 77 years, it held the title of the largest car maker in the world until early this year, when Toyota stepped over its title claiming to have higher annual sales than GM.

For over the century, GM has provided many people with unimaginable number of cars. They have created millions and is still being used by many. Although there are a considerable number of complains and features that lack in GM cars, its an undeniable fact that they are still one of the most driven car.
