Over the weekend the CD player in my car decided it wanted to break on me. Not a good time at all considering I was on my way back from visiting my brother who lives about 3 hours away.
So I had to listen to the damn radio the whole way home. In 2 years of owning my car, I think I have maybe listened to the stereo once. That time would have been when I wasn't at home to watch the football game, so I listened to it in the car.
I have always preferred to listen to the CD player rather than the radio because I get to listen to all the music I want. I don't have to flip through stations to hear good songs. Also, it's awesome to not have to listen to annoying commercials.
So when I got home from my brother's house, I took the CD player out of my car to try to fix it. The CD player is a 6-Disc CD changer that came factory installed in the car. I couldn't fix it so I called the junk yard to get a used one from there. I couldn't believe the amount of money I had to pay for it! I had to pay $200 for a used CD player!
