car insurance mega site that can make it easier for anyone to find answers to questions, get rates and quote information.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Auto insurance online questions rates and quotes was a thought that occurred to me when i was shopping for car insurance for my family and had a really tough time getting around all these different webpages. So, I decided to make my own site up with all the information and helpful links in one place.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website, so I am very open to constructive suggestions and any advice. I have searched the internet to find the best information available to make insurance shopping that much easier

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The name for the website came to me as I was searching for insurance for my family's automobile. I am in the process of creating a one stop shop for all the necessary information I seek out as I know others will be too.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

There is no compilation of insurance site anywhere on the web. I know because I have searched and searched.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My goal is to contnue to improve the site with even more information in a more direct and concise manner that will hopefully evetually support itself and grow from teh input of the viewers of the site.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I do this as more then a hobby but as a result of my frustration searching for insurance needs recently. I will continue to grow the site whenever I come across grossly misorganized niformation elewhere on the internet.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire professionals to properly layout the site and ensure that everything is exactly the way the majority of the viewers would like it.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

YEs, I am prepared for the site to be BIG. Even if it happens overnight I am willing to make the sacrifices necessary to make it successful.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I thought it would be easy to include services from outside vendors to assist in paying for the project but have been plagued by mis-coding errors and my own general lack of knowledge when it comes to coding the site. Practice makes perfect, and I continue to practice!

What has been your biggest challenge?

Just getting to this point and even though the site isn't perfect getting it out there to the people in hopes that it will help someone and spur on my desire for more success and and even better site.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Well, this certainly seems to be the most challenging part but could certainly pay out if it works. I will have to let you know if it really works.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is a lot more difficult that I had original thought it would be. Much more time consuming ( especially when you are creating it from scratch).

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

This site is really new; not even a week old- although the URL is a little older I just wanted to make sure as much auto insurance information was available as quickly as possible. IMprovements will be made daily!

Have you ever done anything like this before?

No, I would have to say that I haven't done anything like this ever before. I am new territory here and hope that the readers of this will take the time to visit the site and do a couple of things for me. First I would like there feedback and help it making it better. Secondly, I would hope that they would visit some of the sites sponsers cause that will help pay for the site and allow for an even better experience!
