Car fanatics can now rejoice. The local government of Cebu in the Philippines will hold its first ever luxury car auction. Bidders from around the world have expressed their willingness to join the said auction. The city cable channel was able to show list of the sure 100 participant of which more than 30 international bidders.
Cars that are included in this auction ranges from Land Rovers, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, Audi, Ford, GM, Mazda, Volkswagen, Lexus, Porsche and a lot more. Categories will also be laid down to enable bidders have an easy and quick look to what car they want. Luxury cars, SUV, trucks, sports cars and combinations of these. But the highlight of the event would be the Vintage Cars from Ford, Cadillac and Rolls Royce.
Some of these cars are already on display at the top floor of the 7 story municipal town hall. The bidding will be set to private at the time of the actual bidding but will be telecast after the event happened.
This is sponsored by some of the country's biggest companies and some international sponsor. The local government announced yesterday that 15% of the earnings will be given to the province's 8 charities to help in each charity's humanitarian deeds.
The event will happen on the 16th of March 2008. This is a much awaited event, so don't miss it.
