It really is very unusual for racing car makers to produce a very street legal road cars that can be use daily for strolling around the city of for traveling. But even though its unusual, this doesn't prevent them from making one. Brands like Ferrari, McLaren, Lotus and others are just example of these.
The other example, though not known directly to many, is ProDrive. ProDrive is a racing car manufacturer. Its main clients are Subaru and Ashton Martin. They also provide car designs and concepts for many other car manufacturer. They have been involved in rally races and world racing tours since 1984. Their first clients are Porsche, MG (a British sports car maker) and BMW. Since then, ProDrive has always been connected to touring cars and making campaigns for different car brands that we all know for sure.
But ProDrive has developed something new that the world will surely look into. It is called the ProDrive P2, the first car design under their name. The P2 is not an ordinary car. Because it is manufactured by ProDrive who is known for its speedy racing cars, the P2 is faster than any other road car. The P2 body is done by Peter Stevens, the designer of the McLaren F1 and has been working with them for many years.
The car has rally-inspired anti-lag that will prevent it from the turbo lag for a comfortable driving experience. It also has an active center and active rear differential that enables it to maximize the grip. It has a 340bphp beating other known cars such as TVR Sagaris, BMW M5 and Aston Martin Vanquish.
Summing it up, the style, design, comfortability, maneuvering, quality and others are all great. But the best deal it could offer is that it will only cost you around £40,000, a way lot cheaper as compared to other sports road car. The only thing not good about this is that the company expressed that they have no plans on putting the car into major production. Only few models were made, and they are not for commercial use. Oh well, guess we all have to wait.
