I can still remember the day I drove my own car. It was 5 years ago, a high school graduation gift from my father. I'm still a newbie driver back then. It was a BMW 5 Series 54.0i and it was a lovely car I should say. Although it was a little long time ago, the general appearance is still good. If you will look at it right now, the beauty of it is still intact. It can even be considered as prettier than other newly released cars I have seen.
Its color is silver with a black line of upholstery. Considering that it was a second hand car, the price was not that high. Maybe 20% or 30% lesser than the original. It's a luxury sport sedan according to the catalog. I'm not an expert when it comes to car specs, parts and other features. But for my years of driving, I learned that 54.0i's features are a bit advanced than any other car of its year category.
So when my father gave it to me, I was like shocked for 100 years. Seriously, the bone in me cracked up. I never thought a gift like that would be handed to me, on the very day of my graduation. It was heaven.
I know how to drive cars even before they handed the keys to me because I used to tag along my father during his country driving every weekend.
I wanted to try how good is my new car. I wanted to know how far can it take me. So I did my ultimate test drive the day after. And it was a blast! Perfect. My car rocks.
Being away from my home, wherein I cannot bring my own car, is a hard thing for me to do. But I do believe I can drive my car sooner. And I'm looking forward to it.
