Ford Model T Celebrates 100 Years

In the middle of the oil crisis, high gas prices and closing car plants, Ford will be celebrating a milestone in their car making history. This year, the company Henry Ford built, will pay homage to the first ever affordable American car, the Ford Model T.

It was in September of 1908 when Henry Ford said he will make a car that is affordable to any person earning decent amount of money, a car that is big enough for the whole family but is small enough for an individual to drive and can be easily taken care of. And he produced the Model T, putting the "Americans on wheels".
