When did you start your website and why?

I started it two days ago as a venue for auto dealers and private sellers to list and sale cars

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

This is a site for listing cars. sellers can list their cars for a fee while interested buyers can browse for cars for free.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Getting traffic to the site. It is a new site that hasn't had any visitors yet.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

It is easy to operate as it is completely automated.

What was your biggest mistake?

None so far.

Who maintains your website and why?

I do maintain the website myself. I maintain it personally because it is my own business and as the owner, I can make sure I can address client/customer issues myself.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

I have other 33 websites and this particular website contributes to the growth of my business.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

Ecommerce is the easiest kind of business any one interested in business can start. It is fairly cheaper than traditional businesses, most customers are switching from traditional shopping to online shopping and I feel that is just the start. Ecommerce is the business of the future. Owners can run their ecommerce busimesses anywhere in the world. No need to rent a space like traditional businesses, No need for inventory, completely automated and above all, it transcends national and political borders.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

It plays a big role in website visibility.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

They do help a lot. But we can't forget about Web directories. Directories increase the chance of web visibility 10 fold, not to forget that they offer permanent links.

Not at all. It needs a small amount of money. But you need to promote and work on the internet business like a full time job.

I have been searching for clients who are willing to buy two old cars, even for their spare parts. I have a volvo 240GL KA__and a peugeot 504 station wagon -KV_. I am in Vihiga in Western Province, Kenya where it is very difficult to get interested clients and I have been trying to sell them for 3 years now. Could someone help me. These cars belong to my elderly parents and we want to get a better, automatic car/pickup, preferrably toyota. If I am on the wrong page, can you guide me.
