The Ford Idol

By Michael Shoemaker at 05/21/08 23:32

Utah, any: American Idol Judges

The sensation brought about by the ever famous American Idol has ended.

This morning, the conclusion had been given and the people decided the title is for David Cook, he is now officially the ultimate American Idol for season 7 of the show.

But mind you, the two finalist is already a winner even before the competition ends. The popularity, the exposure, the experience - everything will surely make them a star in every way. A lot has been stored for them, including their all new Ford Escape Hybrid.

Before the results was revealed, Ford Motor Company, an official partner of the show gave the two finalist new Ford Escapes Hybrid Edition. Now that's two more green on the road!

Ford has always been a partner of the show for a couple of years now. Every idol contestants are given the opportunity to make a commercial for Ford's cars. So far every commercial the Idol's do for the car company is a hit.

It was a good move for Ford to collaborate with the show because we all know how many people watch the show, and we are talking about million here, not only in America, but probably worldwide.

The finals ended with a bang. Before the final fight, the finalist fought with all the best they could give. If you will judge the outcome according to their performance prior to the result giving, David Archuleta is more likely to win the crown. Judge Simon Cowell already said that Archuletta completely knocked out David Cook based on their performance. However, the people seems to think differently. 56% of the votes goes to Cook while the remaining went to Archuletta.

Anyway, he won't walk home crying. He'll drive the Ford home weeping. Kidding. But I believe Ford must soon make their own talent show. The Next Ford Idol. That would be awesome, isn't it?
