When did you start your website and why?

We started somewhere in December 2006 to facilitate the advertising of cars in our system.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Our websites list cars whereby advertisers list their cars either new, used or reconditioned cars. The websites list the available cars with reference numbers where it can be used to be SMSed to our system for queries on the advertisers.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Getting more hits to our website and getting car dealers in Malaysia to notice it.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Hosting it.

What was your biggest mistake?

To put too much information on the website

Who maintains your website and why?

We maintain our website on our own as we regard it is only customisable on our own.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

It explains a lot on how to do business with us as we need to educate the consumers on the usage of our system.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

It will grow at a steady rate. However, conventional commerce will still exist but deteriorate slowly as speed of e-commerce will become more obvious.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

I am not so sure

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

It has helped but it has still not reached our target hits.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Getting named in conventional media, Newspapers/Television/PR.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Promoting through listings in personals.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

More honest people keying in data.
