It was in 1996 when Generam Motors last offered the public their Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. It has been 14 years since we last saw the "godly" car, a car almost everyone love. But all will change in just a few months because GM will revive the car in their 2010 model year vehicles.
Because this is the first Corvette Grand Sport in 14 years, we expect this is something very special. The new corvette will be a combination of LS3-based powertrain with a totally one of a kind, wide-body design and a racing-bred suspension.
The Grand Sport will be available in two versions, the coupe and the convertible. You also has the option of going on a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The LS3 6.2-liter engine gives the Corvette a 430 horsepower and pumps 424 pound-feet of torque.
Other features of the 2010 Corvette Grand Sport are as follows:
- 18 and 19 inch wheels
- Z06-style splitter and spoiler
- functional brake ducts
- Z06-size brakes
The 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is available in The Grand Sport can be ordered with 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and 4LT trim packages.
