In all of Acura's line of sedans, they said the fourth generation Acura TL is by far the most advanced in technology and performance. By appearance, the 4th generation TL is by far ahead of its predecessors, although the difference is not that big.

The new TL now has bigger wheel arches. It has a pointy front and rear. The full length of the car is also 6 inches longer than the previous ones. Despite this facts, the new TL's body is actually 17 lbs. lighter as compared to earlier models. However, the overall weight of the car is still 85 lbs more over its brothers. The 4th generation TL was designed in the Acura Design Studio in Torrance, California.

To increase fuel mileage, Acura added the Electric Power Steering feature, if you will compare it to traditional hydraulic pumps.

If you order the car, you can also order it with their Technology Package. With this, you get a 440-watt Acura/ELS sound system with 10 speakers and DVD-Audio. Also, included in the Technology Package is Acura's Acurailink real-time traffic system as well as the real-time weather, all provided by XM NavWeather.

The 4th generation Acura TL comes in two variants, the front drive and the Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH AWD). The front drive Acura TL is expected to go on sale on September 24 while the SH-AWD will be available on November 1 this year.

The pricing, according to Acura, will range from US$34,000-$42,000. I don't know if you find this car hot or not, but I don't think this is all the best Acura can come up with.

So there folks, save up your money now if you are planning to go for the new 4th generation Acura TL. It's a 305 horsepower car, super handling all-wheel drive with such bold designs. Own it in the coming months.
