After almost two years of development, Dodge has officially delivered their first set of the new line of Dodge Challenger. The challenger had been seen in different auto shows last December 2007 and February this year and all of the official 6,400 cars to be manufactured are already pre-sold. However, the first 1,000 of the orders we're just delivered a few days ago. And the person to be the first delivery recipient? None other than the car fan himself, talk show host Jay Leno. Leno already owned a vintage Challenger but he wants a newer version.

There was even a Dodge Celebrity Test Drive that was held last Tuesday in Souther California. Celebrities who attended includes Carmen Electra, Audrina Patridge, Snoop Dogg, Rob Lowe, Luke Wilson, Macy Gray and David Spade.

Even though Jay Leno was the first person to be delivered with the new Challenger, he is still not the first person to own the new muscle car from Dodge. The Dodge 2008 Challenger SRT8 car #1 went to the winner of the auction, who bid around $400,000 just to own the first of the 2008 Challengers. The proceeds of the auction will go to the notMYkid foundation charity. Now that's how you start your business with, sharing blessings to others!
