Fleet of Volkswagen Green Cars For 2008 Beijing Olympics

China many have reduce the number of cars passing their national highways by half to make sure the Olympic air will be tolerable in time for the Olympics. The air pollution in Beijing have reached a rate of 85-90, a high percentage according to the World Health Organization. WHO stated that any air rate percentage above 50 is risky and a bit dangerous and above 100 is already considered unsafe. The Beijing air is nearing critical level.

To solve this problem, the Chinese government prohibited the use of almost half of the cars in China. But this move actually isn't enough. They need help. And Volkswagen came to the rescue.
