In 1966, Chevrolet came up with the idea of a car that would compete to the popular Ford Mustangs. In 1967, they introduced the Camaro line. Later when asked what a Camaro is, Chevrolet officials said it was "a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs".
Although Chevrolet's Camaro have not really put down Ford Mustang into its knees, it is interesting to know that at times the Camaro was favored by many over the Mustang. Specially for the design, I prefer it over Ford's. Mustangs are still in production, Camaro stopped its production in 2002 but it will once again make its way back in 2009.
