I have been told before that what we have now really cannot replace what we have before. As a child that was born in the modern age, who thinks everything can be replaced and can be created, I did not believe in that saying. But as I grow up, I learned that it's right. You can restore things, but you definitely cannot make another one of it especially if it includes good memories.
Everybody knows how I love antique things. I would do anything just to get something that is older than me. I used to collect old stamps, old coins, old toys and old books and generally all things that has long history in it.
I got this hobby from my father who also likes to collect antique things especially old cars. My father is a humanitarian worker and a professional doctor. He said when he was young he has to work a lot to send himself to school. That inspired me and became a working student as well.
My father owns 2 vintage cars at the moment. He used to own more of them years ago but has to sell them to attend to our needs. And besides, aside from keeping them in your garage and giving yourself a reward after a long work by looking at your precious collection, there's no other things that you can do with them.
The only remaining vintage cars in my father's garage at the moment are his 1971 dodge Polara and the 1967 GMC Truck. He bought them and restored them. He is always upset whenever he sees old cars that are left unattended.
I think if my father will see that photo on the right, circa 1963-1965 Chevrolet Van, he would really feel upset. You see, classic beauties of vintage vehicles must be kept and you must take care of it properly. Chevy vans like that has always been good in everything. Performance and appearance wise, Chevyvans are really good! That Chevy is probably one of the earliest model of G10. But look at it now, though it's obviously can still be use, I believe it will not be running the roads of Uruguay [where it was taken] in the years to come if the owner will not put effort in restoring it. If you will just restore that classic Chevrolet van, it can still outshine other models now. Otherwise, it will just look like a delivery van for Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
